I feel proud to be the Principal of Fairfield Primary School. When I started at Fairfield PS in 2016, I quickly recognised that I had become part of a community that values the importance of school and where families are actively involved to make the school a better place.
There are many things that I believe makes Fairfield PS a great place to be; the commitment to learning, the sense of community, the focus on student wellbeing, the opportunities to be creative, and the fun and the enjoyment that our students and staff experience daily.
We are very proud of our school’s history, with the school opening in 1885. We have many past students who visit and share stories of their time at Fairfield PS. We have complemented the original building with recent upgrades. In 2018, we opened a competition grade netball/basketball court which is equipped with floodlights. In 2019, we opened a new two-storey facility that accommodates six grades. We also look forward to the exciting Wingrove St development, which will see a campus built, just a stone’s throw away from the school in the near future.
Visitors are always welcome. Please contact the school if there is anything we may be able to assist you with.
