ART FOR ALL Weekend
September 6 - September 8
What’s on offer across the weekend?
- Gallery: Our gallery features a mix of local community artists alongside well known and collectable artists.
- Gallery Shop: A curated, pop-up shop selling gorgeous, unique goods—jewellery, ceramics, textiles, etc.—by Melbourne designers.
- Children’s Gallery: Showcasing artwork by every student at Fairfield PS. This year expect to see works inspired by Leonardo da Vinci
Schedules and maps will be distributed with the pre-purchased tickets to your child’s classroom, and will also be available from the ticket booth on the day.
But here is a quick overview if you’re looking to plan ahead.
Friday 6th September
- 9am: Acknowledgement to Country
- Join us at the FPS School Assembly to open the proceedings with the Djirri Djirri Wurundjeri Women’s Dance Group and Acknowledgement to Country.
- 6 – 9pm: Preview Night: The Gallery and Shop will open for a Preview Night.
Saturday 7th September
- 10am – 2pm: Gallery & Lunch
- The Gallery and Shop are open, and the café will offer lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day.
- 7 – 11pm: Gala Night
- Gala Night is the official gallery opening and awards night. Enjoy a glass of bubbles from the bar, music and entertainment, and canapés served by the graduating Year 6 students.
Sunday 8th November
- 10am – 2pm: PARTY FOR ALL! A day of family fun including:
- Fair Rides
- Art Zone
- Dali Disco
- Gallery
- Shop
- Café
- Plus, entertainment on the ART BY ALL stage, with performances as follows.
