Join Us—End of Year School Picnic

To celebrate the end of another successful 2016 school year, Fairfield PS will be holding an end of year school picnic on Friday 16 December, from 6 – 8pm on the school oval.

All families are welcome to come and celebrate—please bring your own picnic food and supplies. Whilst this is an evening of fun and celebration, we ask that families remember to supervise their children, and if you choose to drink alcohol, please consume it responsibly.

The school grounds and toilets will be open and available for use until 8pm, when the gates will be locked.

We look forward to seeing lots of families on the evening and have our fingers crossed for beautiful weather—long-term parents at the school know only too well the thunderstorms of previous years!

Food Donations to Support Community Members in Need

As part of its annual Christmas Appeal, the Salvation Army has put a call out for donations to support families in need this Christmas.

Fairfield Primary School will be supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal by requesting a small donation of non-perishable food items from members of the school community.

By donating food you would be helping families to enjoy a special Christmas meal and also be easing some of their financial burden to purchase gifts for Christmas. All food items donated will be taken to the Preston Salvation Army to be distributed to families in the area.

Please place donations underneath the Christmas tree in the foyer near the front office by Friday, 16th December. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
