workingbeeWorking Bee: Saturday 3 September, Noon – 4pm

Come join us for a whole school Working Bee on Saturday 3 September from Noon – 4pm.

This working bee will focus on preparing our school grounds for Art4All and repair works on Kaan’s Winya. We appreciate as many volunteers as possible—as they say, many hands make light work! If you are able to help us out for part (or all) of the afternoon, please RSVP. We will finish the work with a celebratory sausage sizzle!

Want to Learn Recorder? Spaces Available—Thursdays at 3.30pm

A number of places have opened up for any children who wish to learn the recorder in a group setting straight after school on a Thursday at 3:30pm. Classes run for 30 minutes and cost $15 (plus gst) per session.

Group recorder is a popular class for beginning musicians. This is a fun class designed to introduce children to some musical fundamentals whilst also increasing finger dexterity and control. Children can progress quickly with recorder. It is a positive introduction to our instrumental programme as most children continue onto other instruments as they grow. If you are interested, please email recorder teacher Steve Dowell or contact him at 0438 004 174.
