This year was our biggest Art4All yet! More artists and designers, bigger crowds and higher sales! It was a fantastic event for our school which attracted over 1000 people. It takes many hands, and the Committee thanks everyone who contributed time to Art4All.

Parents helped set-up, pack-down and keep things running in the lead-up to and throughout the weekend. Lots of staff helped out too. What a great community we have at FPS!

Art4All is a terrific experience for our children and they loved it! The grade six students were wonderful hosts at our Gala Evening on Saturday. And hundreds of kids spent time enjoying our fantastic Artzone, the hilarious Trash Test Dummies Show and doing the art trail on Family Day! It was wonderful also to see each student’s art showcased in the Children’s Gallery; and our orchestra and choir perform.

The Gallery and Gallery Shop were absolute stand-outs and attracted bumper sales. Over 130 artists exhibited (alongside our feature indigenous artists). Plus more than 50 local designers showcased handmade goods.

The food all weekend was outstanding. The indigenous menu for the gala evening was mind bogglingly special and complemented our feature indigenous artworks. The string quartet and DJ were both fabulous as well. As was the weather on Sunday (how lucky were we).

Our ‘Be the Art’ installation and CAPtivating creations community project were big hits! The eye-catching trees will be installed in the school grounds for the kids to enjoy.

Finally we had fantastic response to our artworks this year! Our Gallery took approximately $60,000 in art sales and the shop sold approximately $26,000 of goods.

Thanks once again to everyone for helping out in so many ways.
