We were lucky to be visited by Paul, Morris and Mark from the Northcote Fire Station. They helped us learn all about safe and unsafe fires and we practised how to “crawl down low, and go, go, go!”

After the on-going success of the puppet theatres and shows, The Flying Book Worm captivated us with interactive storytelling performances. They acted out The Gingerbread Man, Three Billy Goats Gruff and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, with some gripping performances from budding foundation actors.

Setting us up for some very interesting learning in term four, they helped us understand that with some simple props and an imagination, we can perform just about any story! Watch some of our follow up performances from Exploration!

Students have also begun to author entertaining and engaging stories, making short picture books during Exploration.

Swimming finished up with a fun day last Friday. Children enjoyed some water games and of course the giant inflatable water slide. Many thanks again to those parents who were able to help out.
