Art4AllArt4All is the FPS annual art show. It is held in September each year and has been running for 19 years. It REALLY is amazingly professional and fabulous! It includes:

  • An art gallery – open Friday night, Saturday and Sunday featuring well-known collectable artists and community artists.
  • A gallery shop – with prints, jewellery and beautiful artisan goods for sale.
  • A Gala Opening (on Saturday night) – one of the big social events in the school calendar. You can invite friends outside the school along too.
  • Family Day (on Sunday) – interactive art experiences and loads of creative activities for children and families. Family Day is a similar sized event to the Fair, and features great food.

 

ART4ALL is a wonderful public relations exercise for our school and it attracts many visitors and buyers from the neighbourhood and broader Melbourne art scene. It celebrates and supports artists and the arts. It encourages children to experience art and student art will also be on show in the children’s gallery.

  • Always hugely popular with kids (and lots of adults), our first-round T-shirt order closes this Sunday 24 July! Just $24 each, order now to make sure you don’t miss out. OR buy a t-shirt as part of the DO IT ALL PACKAGE. For $50 you get your t-shirt, an ARTzone wristband a ticket to the performance as well as lunch on Family Day, Sunday 11 September.

  • Do you know an amateur, well-know or collectable artist who might be interested in exhibiting in this year’s show? Indigenous art to feature

  • This year our students are studying aboriginal art, and to support the school’s visual arts program we will feature a number of Indigenous Australian artists in our gallery. How exciting!

Want to help us organise this event?

We need many different skills!

Join our next committee meeting Monday 1st August in the Art Room at 7.30pm

 

At the back end we need assistance with:

  • Food and catering
  • Organising i.e. putting up posters, letterboxing etc.

We also need help from creative souls with:

  • Hanging the gallery
  • Organising and overseeing children’s activities
  • Handmade beautiful goods for our gallery shop

 

Like the Fair we will need EVERY FAMILY to volunteer over the weekend. We’ll share a volunteer sign-up site closer to the event. We encourage volunteering on a class by class basis (so you can get to know the parents of your child’s new friends while you’re working in the café or selling art). We hope you will be able to help out then… but there’s also a lot to do in the lead up!
